Mr. Saif Al Shehhi Joined National Bank of Abu Dhabi in May 1994 in the Audit Depatment. He served as the Head of Audit Compliance for five years until he was appointed General Manager of Domestic Banking Division in April 2005.

Prior to joining NBAD, he worked in the UAE Central Bank’s Banking Supervision and Examination Department from 1987 till April 1994.

The NBAD Domestic Banking Division comprises of branches and other networks such as ATMs, Call Centre, NBAD Direct, Commercial Banking Group and Elite Banking. Mr Al Shehhi’s main responsibility is to ensure continued profitability of the division and to expand the branch network, which is the Bank’s overall strategy in the UAE.

Mr. Al Shehhi is a member of several of the Bank’s committees such as Management Committee, Operational Risk, Credit Risk, and Asset & Liability Committee.

In Addition, he is a board member of Abu Dhabi Financial Services (an NBAD subsidiary) and a member of the Audit Committee of Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD).

He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Accounting from an American university in 1987.
