Global Financial Markets Forum 2012
In line with Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision, which aims to enhance Abu Dhabi’s role as a regional financial services centre, the National Bank of Abu Dhabi has organised series of annual Global Financial Markets Forums in Abu Dhabi.
This year is the fourth year in a row that NBAD is hosting the GFMF where Global Financial Markets Forum has been expanded from a workshop to a forum where, in addition to workshops and panel discussions, issuers from the UAE presenting their organisations to global financial institutions, funds and investors. The GFMF 2012 Forum have been attended by delegates from leading corporations, financial institutions, global hedge funds, pension funds and eminent personalities from the business and government sectors.
The Forum encompasses of speeches, panel discussions and workshops. Eminent economists and global financial leaders are expected to discuss markets and economies to offer attendees a regional and global perspective on economy and markets. As the leading global markets practitioners discuss the macro views on the global economy; there are segment of panel discussions comprising of senior executives from government-related entities and corporations to discuss UAE, more precisely Abu Dhabi’s role and commitment to the growth of the region.
This event had been held at the Emirates Palace, a showcase of Abu Dhabi’s growth as a vibrant city in the region offering a wide range of tourism and entertainment options.
