Global Financial Markets Islamic Forum 2011

In line with the Government of Abu Dhabi’s 2030 vision of “greatly enhancing its role as a regional financial services centre”, National Bank of Abu Dhabi is proud to host the 3rd Global Financial Markets Forum as well as the 2nd Global Financial Markets Islamic Forum between the 27th of February and 4th of March 2011 in Abu Dhabi.

Following the success of the events held in 2009 & 2010, this year’s event is being expanded from a Workshop to a Forum whereby high level speakers will engage delegates from leading Financial Institutions and eminent personalities from the global business and government sectors.

Eminent Economists will discuss markets and economies giving us a regional and global perspective in today’s volatile world. Panels will comprise of senior Shariah Scholars and leading Global Markets practitioners; our Treasury team with Reuters and Bloomberg will create an environment to actively engage delegates on developments in latest Islamic financial products and trading tools available today.

This event will be hosted at the Yas Island which is a landmark in the growth of Abu Dhabi as a vibrant city in the UAE offering a wide range of tourism and entertainment options. Partnering with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi for this event, Yas Island shall showcase its avenues and entertainment activities such as the Formula 1 circuit, the Ferrari World, the Yas Links Golf course as well as the Flash entertainment arena and our guests for this event shall be able to partake in activities at these venues.

The Global Financial Markets Islamic Forum will also offer a chance for delegates to interact and unwind through dinner events being hosted on each day of The Forum.
